Gold Symbol...
The Gold symbol is used to show how much gold you start the game with.
You must keep track of how much gold you have during play and use it to purchase cards from your deck at Markets or Towns. It can also be used with certain Ability Cards to destroy your enemies Locations and abilities.
Location Symbol...
The Location symbol will show you how many location card you may choose from your deck and put in to play before the game begins.
Heart Symbol...
The heart symbol represents your life and this is how much you start the game with.
Deck Symbol...
The deck symbol shows you how many cards you may draw from your shuffled deck at the start of the game.
