Deck Composition...
A Deck is made up of at least 50 cards (including your Avatar card).
Avatars...
The starter decks contain 1 Avatar card each, you may only have one avatar card in the standard game. The avatar card will decide what attributes you start the game with; gold, life, draw cards, starting locations attack points and any special abilities and the element types you can play.
Abilities...
The starter decks start with about 17 ability cards. If you are building a custom deck, you can have any amount of these, however, you are restricted to a maximum of 4 of the same card in play at any time. Abilities can be either attack abilities or defence abilities and they are played next to your avatar and boost your avatars powers of attack and defend.
Conflicts...
The starter decks have about 16 Conflict cards. If you are building a custom deck, you can have any amount of these. The conflict cards are used to block an attack from your enemy and can also inflict damage to you enemy.
Locations...
The starter decks have about 16 location cards. If you are building a custom deck, you can have any amount of these, however, you are restricted to a maximum of 4 of the same card in play at any time. You are also required to have a minimum of 1 location card in your deck. You lay the location cards down to make the board on which the game is played on. The different locations will have their own set of attributes from how many move points they cost to move on to them, to how many rewards it will give you after a successful attack phase.
