Heart Symbol...
The Heart Symbol is use to show Life Points. It is used on Avatar Cards to show how much Life you start the game with. It is also used on Location Cards as a reward value. You will also find this symbol on every Conflict Card in the top Right Corner, this is the Conflicts starting Life.
Gold Symbol...
The Gold symbol is used to show how much a card costs to purchase or how much gold you collect as a Reward.
You must keep track of how much gold you have during play and use it to purchase cards from your deck at Markets or Towns. It can also be used with certain Ability Cards to destroy your enemies Locations and abilities.
Deck Symbol...
The Deck Symbol represents your deck.
The Deck is the main set of cards that you start the game with. These will be shuffled well and placed face down in a pile.
The Deck symbol is used on Avatar cards to give you the amount of cards that you can start with in your hand.
The Deck symbol is also used on location cards with associated Reward Points. For each Reward Point you may take a card from your Deck and put it in to your hand.
