Avatar...
The Avatar Symbol is used to identify your Avatar Card. Your Avatar is the card that you chose as your character in the Conflict Game. Your avatar will decide how much life you start with, how many gold coins you have and how many deck cards you may start with in your hand. It will also tell you how many Location cards you may start with.
The Avatar card will have an illustration of one of the 16 different races.
Each Avatar uses one or more of the 4 different elements and one of the those elements will be the dominant element recognised by the colour of the card.
The four starter decks use 2 elements each. You can only have those 2 element type cards in your deck.
Ability...
The sword and shield symbol is used for identifying the Ability cards ...however ...there are 2 types of Abilities ...Attack Ability and Defend Ability.
The Attack Ability has a Sword on the right hand side in the information box and the defend abilities have a row of the 4 Defend Abilities; Speed, Heal, Armour and Burn.
Conflict...
The Conflict symbol is used on conflict cards for 2 reasons. The first is just to identify it, the second is to give you the Conflicts level. There is a symbol for every level that conflict has on the side panel. These are called Conflict Points.
You will also find a small Conflict symbol on the Location Card next to an Attack symbol. This is to show how many Conflict points your enemy can use to defend themselves.
Location...
This Symbol is used to identify the Location Cards. The Location cards are brought in to play and make the game board on which your miniature figure is used.
The miniature figure is used on the Location cards to represent your avatar card.
The location cards will have instructions on what happens if you stop at that Location. It will also give you elements to play Ability Cards and have various Rewards
