Conflicting Kingdoms TM - The Board Trading Card Game

“But this is unlike any board game you have played before. It uses the unique method of deck building as used in trading card games like Magic the Gathering and Yu Gi Oh. You play the cards from your deck to build the board you play on and you also use the cards to buff your avatar and to weaken your enemies with ability cards.”

“This is how it works. You have a miniature figure avatar that you use to move around the board and it will have an associated avatar card that will give you all attributes for the starting game. As you play the game, you put ability cards next to your avatar card that will make them better at attacking or defending. You will also bring location cards in to play by placing them on the game table to build your own unique board. These locations will give you the manna required to bring the abilities in to play. The other card that you will have in your deck are called conflicts. A conflict card can be used to block attacks from your enemies and can also be used to inflict damage on them.”

“There are currently ten Theme Decks to chose from. Each theme deck has its own advantages and disadvantages but, Theme decks can be mixed to build you own custom deck. There is also plans for other Theme Decks and small Booster Packs so keep an eye out.”

“Sixteen Different Races to choose from, each with there own unique abilities and attributes. The different races can be mixed to produce even more varied decks.”

How to play

“Rule Sets are another fantastic feature. This game can be played in various different ways. Currently the Standard Rule Set and soon to include Battle Rule Set.”

“Conflicting Kingdoms is essentially a board game where you choose an avatar as your main playing character and you use it to move across the board to engage in battle and defeat your enemies.”

“Twenty Minutes is an average duration for a standard two player game, but this is dependent on how you build your deck and what tactics you employ to defeat your enemy. Will you build a deck with hard hitting close combat abilities and rush in? Or will you focus on armour and healing abilities while slowly grinding your enemy in to a pulp with long ranged attacks?”
